Martin House Children's Hospice

White Rose's nominated charity for 2010-2012 is Martin House Children's Hospice. Based in Wetherby, Martin House provide care and support to children and young people with life limiting illnesses. Martin House relies almost entirely on donations and fundraising to raise over £4.5 million a year to provide vital care and support for so many local children and their families. White Rose have a fund raising target of £100,000 by March 2012, so please keep your eyes peeled on the website and in the centre for details of how you can join in.

British Heart Foundation

The White Rose Shopping Centre, owned by Land Securities, has teamed up with the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to help beat heart disease together.  We want to raise vital funds for the BHF and awareness of heart disease.  Further to this, leave a legacy of improved health for customers, colleagues and centre staff.
