Families & Young Children
Little Shoppers Stay Safe
Remember to pick up a wristband for your little shoppers from the Customer Service Centre each time you come to the White Rose. The wristbands have space for an emergency contact number should you become separated during your visit.
KiddyKars
Available for hire. These are suitable for children aged 18 months to 5 years (this is at the parent/guardians discretion). These cost £2.50 per hour and can be hired from the Customer Service Centre.
Baby Changing Rooms
Complete with nappy vending machines, are easily accessible in the North and South Malls and the Upper Circle. The changing room in the South Mall and Upper Circle has a small feeding areas. Microwaves for bottle warming are also located on the Upper Circle for customers to use.
General
Lost Property
The Centre makes every effort to ensure that lost property is returned where possible. If you have lost an item whilst in the Centre, please make enquiries at the Customer Service Centre where your details will be taken and if the item is found, your goods will be returned to you. Additionally if you find an item within the centre please hand it to Customer Services or a member of security where it will be logged.
Security
A network of CCTV cameras cover the Centre, the car parks and perimeter roads, our malls and car parks are patrolled by fully trained Customer Support Officers and two vehicles.
First Aid
The majority of our staff are trained in first aid, defibrillation and the administration of oxygen. We have three defibrillators located throughout the centre. If you require assistance please report to the nearest staff member.
Police
West Yorkshire Police have three full-time staff located at the centre. PC Julien, PCSO Tonks and PCSO Devaney work alongside our security team and security staff employed by our retailers to help us keep White Rose a safe place for shoppers. Any person committing an offence, or behaving inappropriately, whilst in the centre is issued with an exclusion order preventing them from returning. Shopmobility
Is mobility a problem when shopping? Then why not take advantage of the free Shopmobility service? Shopmobility is managed from the Ross Care Mobility Store and offers visitors to the centre with free electric scooter hire, free powered wheelchair hire, free manual wheelchair hire and is open to suit White Rose opening hours. Advanced bookings are essential to use this free service. Location: Located through the main entrance from car park 6 More Information: To become a member ring 0113 277 3636 and ask our helpful staff for more information on the service and ask for an information leaflet to be mailed to you. Alternatively, call into the store next time you are passing and speak to someone in person. Should you decide to become a member, you will be asked to complete a simple membership registration form and we shall require to see two forms of identity with your current address. Ross care has nearly 60 years experience in the mobility field and also sell a full range of mobility products and other useful aids for use inside and outside the home. Visitors to the store can try Scooters, Powerchairs, Wheelchairs, Rise and Recline Armchairs, Bathing and Walking Aids for size, with no obligation to buy.
