Facilities at the White Rose Shopping Centre

To make your visit an enjoyable experience, we offer a wide range of facilities for all, from families with young children to people with disabilities.

Listed here are some of the facilities that we offer:

Free Shopmobility scheme 

Where wheelchairs and electric scooters are available.  Ring 0113 277 3636 to book in advance. 

Minicom phone 

Available at Reception.  Ring 0113 229 1250 for details.

Induction loops 

Available from the Customer Service Centre or from Reception on the upper level.

Infrared loop 

Available on the Upper Circle.

Large print directories 

Available from the Customer Service Centre.

Over 92 parking spaces for the disabled 

Located around the eight car parks.

Registered Assistance dogs are welcome.

KiddyKars 

Available for hire. These are suitable for children aged 18 months to 6 years (this is at the parent/guardians discretion). These cost £2.50 and can be hired from the Customer Service Centre.

Lifts

The Centre has three customer lifts, two glass lifts are positioned in the Central Atrium and one in the South by WH Smiths providing easy access to Shopmobility. Several public lifts are also located in larger shop units.

Lost Property

The Centre makes every effort to ensure that lost property is returned where possible. If you have lost an item whilst in the Centre, please make enquiries at the Customer Service Centre where your details will be taken and if the item is found, your goods will be returned to you.

Public Telephones

20 pay phones are positioned around the Centre, some of which are at low level for the convenience of wheelchair users.

Security

A network of CCTV cameras cover the Centre, the car parks and perimeter roads, our malls are patrolled by fully first aid trained Customer Support Officers and two vehicles and motorbikes patrol the 8 car parks, supported by Customer Support Officers on foot.

Police 

The Centre has on-site Police support consisting of one full time Police Officer and two full time Police Community Support Officers. Please visit the Customer Service Centre if you would like to speak to an officer.

Autoglass 

Now have a repair centre located at car park 1B, opposite Next where they repair chips in your windscreen free subject to your insurance. Book online at www.autoglass.co.uk.

Toilets

There are three sets of toilets within the Centre. Each have ample male/female/disabled/baby changing facilities. Toilets are located in the North Mall in between Millies Cookies and the Sunglass Hut, in the Upper Circle in between Primark and BB's Coffee & Muffins and in the South Mall (Upper) next to Shopmobility and opposite WHSmiths.

Baby Changing Rooms

Complete with nappy vending machines, are easily accessible in the North and South Malls and the Upper Circle. The changing room in the South Mall and Upper Circle has a small feeding areas. Microwaves for bottle warming are also located on the Upper Circle for customers to use.
