Facilities at the White Rose Shopping Centre

To make your visit an enjoyable experience, we offer a wide range of facilities for all, from families with young children to people with disabilities.

Families & Young Children:

• Little Shoppers Stay Safe - Remember to pick up a wristband for your little shoppers from the Customer Service Centre each time you come to the White Rose.  The wristbands have space for an emergency contact number should you become separated during your visit. 
• KiddyKars - Available for hire. These are suitable for children aged 18 months to 6 years (this is at the parent/guardians discretion). These cost £2.50 and can be hired from the Customer Service Centre.
• Baby Changing Rooms - Complete with nappy vending machines, are easily accessible in the North and South Malls and the Upper Circle. The changing room in the South Mall and Upper Circle has a small feeding areas. Microwaves for bottle warming are also located on the Upper Circle for customers to use.

General Facilities:

• Lost Property - The Centre makes every effort to ensure that lost property is returned where possible. If you have lost an item whilst in the Centre, please make enquiries at the Customer Service Centre where your details will be taken and if the item is found, your goods will be returned to you. Additionally if you find an item within the centre please hand it to Customer Services or a member of security where it will be logged.
• Security - A network of CCTV cameras cover the Centre, the car parks and perimeter roads, our malls and car parks are patrolled by fully trained Customer Support Officers and two vehicles. 
• First Aid - The majority of our staff are trained in first aid, defibrillation and the administration of oxygen. We have three defibrillators located throughout the centre. If you require assistance please report to the nearest staff member.
• Police - West Yorkshire Police have three full-time staff located at the centre. PC Julien, PCSO Tonks and PCSO Woodword work alongside our security team and security staff employed by our retailers to help us keep White Rose a safe place for shoppers. Any person committing an offence, or behaving inappropriately, whilst in the centre is issued with an exclusion order preventing them from returning. • Autoglass - Now have a repair centre located at car park 1B, opposite Next where they repair chips in your windscreen free subject to your insurance. Book online at www.autoglass.co.uk.
• Toilets - There are three sets of toilets within the Centre. Each have ample male/female/disabled/baby changing facilities. Toilets are located in the North Mall in between Millies Cookies and the Sunglass Hut, in the Upper Circle in between Primark and BB's Coffee & Muffins and in the South Mall (Upper) next to Shopmobility and opposite WH Smith. Toilets are checked regularly and we pride ourselves in our high standards of cleanliness; please however speak to a member of staff if the standard falls below your expectations.
• Cash Machines - There are several located in the centre for your convenience:
  • North Mall
    • Internal - Yorkshire Bank x 2 (Link machines serving all supporting banks, paying in facility also available for Yorkshire Bank customers)
    • External - Nationwide x 1 Natwest x 1 (Link machines serving all supporting banks)
  • Central Atrium
    • Internal - lower level under the spiral stairs, Nationwide x 1 (Link machine serving all supporting banks)
    • Internal - upper level by Juice / M&S, Nationwide x 1 (Link machine serving all supporting banks)
  • South Mall
    • Internal - Halifax/HBOS x 4 (Link machine serving all supporting banks, paying in facility also available for HBOS customers)
    • External - Sainsbury's Bank x 2 (Link machines serving all supporting banks)
• Public Telephones - There are several sets of pay phones positioned around the Centre, some of which are at low level for the convenience of wheelchair users.
• Photocopying & Faxing - this service is available at the Customer Service Centre for a small charge.
• Petrol Station - a Sainsbury's petrol station is located on the site at the south site entrance.
• Photo Booths - there are three photo booths throughout the centre. Upper Circle by Ainsley's, South Mall by T-Mobile, North Mall by Yorkshire Bank.
• Emergency Procedures - In the event of an emergency, evacuation is ordered via alarms within stores and a public address announcement on the malls. Please follow any instructions given by White Rose staff. If an alarm sounds in a store, leave as directed by store staff. Emergency escape corridors are located throughout the centre. Re-entry will be announced via the public address system. The centre tests it's procedures and it's staff regularly to ensure efficiency.
• Woodland Walk - as visitors will recognise, the White Rose is set against a fantastic backdrop of greenery. A woodland walk has been created which encompasses the site and provides an excellent way to experience local nature without wandering too far from the beaten track.
