Bags of Ways to Help Martin House

27th January 2012 - 28th January 2012

There are bags of ways to not only help Martin House Children’s Hospice but also clear out unwanted Christmas gifts and possessions for a fresh start to the New Year.

Martin House are looking for donated items to restock their shops and will be in the central atrium of the White Rose Shopping Centre from Thursday 26th January to Saturday 28th,  to collect good quality items including clothes, toys, books, bags and bric-a-brac, that are no longer needed by their current owners.

Martin House corporate fund raiser Carol Devine said:

“Sales at our shops were so good at the end of last year that we now urgently need more items to re-stock them.

“Shoppers and staff at White Rose are always so generous with helping us to raise money, that we are hoping that they will  also be able to donate their unwanted items to help our shops continue their excellent work.”

White Rose Marketing Manager, Nikki Appleton said:

“This is the traditional time of year for people to decide to make changes either in their wardrobes or homes in general by clearing out things they no longer wear or use  and so the Big Martin House Bag Drop is an ideal way to combine the satisfying feeling of giving yourself more space with helping a very worthy cause to raise vital money”.
