21st February 2012 - 25th March 2012To celebrate the 15th anniversary of White Rose Shopping Centre and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee year, we have had 150 very special medals minted for presentation to people in our community who go the extra mile to help others.
The medals, which include the Queen’s head, will be presented during this year and will be a treasured keepsake for recipients.
White Rose has, since its opening in March 1997, become established as a centre for the community and the focus for many good works including fundraising for charities, promotion of entrepreneurism in young people, encouraging artistic and sporting endeavour and supporting the educational development of thousands of children from local schools.
We have close links with our neighbouring communities and have been privileged to work with some selfless individuals in those communities who have helped to improve the lives of others.
