White Rose Blossoms Again!

Once again White Rose Shopping Centre has been presented with a gold award in the Leeds in Bloom Business Competition. The centre's constant high standards of external landscaping were praised by the judges who visited during Spring. 

This is a credit to the team from Grace Landscapes who conduct the external landscaping and work tirelessly to make sure the grounds are maintained to their excellent standards.

The Leeds Floral Initiative and Leeds in Bloom was established in 1991. It aims to

• encourage everyone to take part in the creation of spaces that are pleasant to work, play and relax in
• create a partnership between the residents, businesses and the council  
• Raise the profile of Leeds and help promote it as a major European centre
• develop the city as an attractive centre for visitors
• brighten our city environment for everyone to enjoy
• improve the visual appeal of Leeds
• encourage civic pride
