Marks and Spencer has opened at the centre

Date: 19 Oct 2007

On Friday 19 October Marks and Spencer was officially opened at the centre by the store manager Alison Niven and her team. A large crowd queued outside the store to celebrate the opening and were given a glass of champagne or bucks fizz on entering the store. A band, DJ and stilt walkers entertained customers and those that needed extra assistance with bags were offered a ride to their cars by two rickshaws.

The store which has a contemporary interior design, brighter lighting, easy to navigate walkways and spacious fitting rooms, offers a wide range of fashion across womenswear, menswear and childrenswear, as well as a food hall with a bakery. The store has three entrances, one leading to the Upper Circle, the lower mall and from car park 5 into the food hall.
