The William Merritt Centre is looking for a friendly and reliable shopmobility operative to join its team. This permanent role offers up to 24 hours per week, including alternate weekends, and plays an important part in helping people with mobility challenges access shops and services independently.

The successful candidate will provide warm, supportive customer service, assist with the safe use and loan of mobility equipment, and help maintain a clean and organised shopmobility area. The role also includes handling bookings and records, carrying out basic equipment checks, and promoting the service to potential users. Previous experience in customer service or care is helpful but not essential, and full training will be provided.
